"Teddy Bear Hospital Day" to Take Place at Albany Med
ALBANY, N.Y., March 23, 2005 - Children will be able to learn about health care during the ninth annual "Teddy Bear Hospital Day" from 1 - 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in Choices Caf? at the Albany Medical Center. Children can bring their teddy bears to the event for a check-up by a medical student and learn about basic medical procedures by participating in hands-on activities. The medical students also will teach the children about lung health, good nutritional habits and how to dial 911. There also will be an opportunity to see inside the Albany Med Flight helicopter as well as an ambulance and fire truck. Refreshments will be served. Admission and parking are free.
