Officer Michael Fiorino is fast becoming a familiar face to many people associated with the Medical Center. Each night, he walks the streets inthe vicinity of Albany Med— talking to residents, watching out for crime, responding to it when it happens. He’s been on this particular beat for six months now, but just recently he has had the convenience of having a station right in the area. Albany Med has donated the use of a house at 409 Myrtle Ave. (former site of the Albany Med legal department) to the Albany Police Department.
